ED conducts searches at four Srinagar premises in alleged terror funding case

Srinagar, Nov 3 (UNI) The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is conducting searches at four premises in Srinagar in connection with an alleged terror funding case, official sources said on Tuesday. The investigation pertains to allegations that Umar Adil Dar and his associates were operating as Over Ground Workers (OGWs) of the banned Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and were actively involved in activities linked to the terrorist organisation. Dar was arrested in February 2023 from the Nowgam area of Srinagar along with two associates. Police had also recovered a substantial amount of cash from the trio.
