Uttarakhand Waqf Board to provide free homes to triple talaq, halala victims

Prithviraj Singh Dehradun Sep 25(UNI) Uttarakhand Waqf Board will provide free homes to the homeless muslim women victimised by traditional religious practices, Triple Talaq, and Nikah Halala, as well as destitute women, according to board officials. The officials said a plan to this effect is being worked out to table a formal proposal in its next general meeting. Waqf Board Chairman Shadab Shams has said that a proposal for this will be presented in the Board meeting next month.
