UP gives Deepotsav 2026 new cultural rhythm

Ayodhya, Nov 1 (UNI) Each stage of Ram's journey will carry a different regional rhythm at Deepotsav 2026, as Uttar Pradesh pairs seven of its folk dance traditions with performances from seven other states. From Bundelkhand's Rai alongside Gujarat's Garba and Dandiya to Braj's Mayur with Assam's Bihu, the combinations will give visitors a cultural journey within the Ramkatha. The Culture Department is preparing 14 tableaux based on the Ramayan's seven kands, using 3D models to recreate key episodes.
