DNA-drone lab helping trainee officers understand power of investigation in UP

Lucknow, Oct 6 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh's technology-driven justice system is gaining strength through the increasing use of scientific evidence in investigations. As part of this initiative, 38 probationary officers of the 2025 Provincial Civil Service (PCS) batch visited the Uttar Pradesh State Institute of Forensic Science in Lucknow and gained insights into modern forensic investigation techniques. The officers observed the DNA Lab and Drone Lab established at the institute and obtained information about their use and significance in the scientific investigation of crime.
