Man Gets 20 Years' Rigorous Imprisonment in Minor Rape Case in Panchkula

Panchkula, Oct 30 (UNI) A 35-year-old man has been sentenced to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs52,000 by a Fast-Track Special POCSO Court in Panchkula in a 2022 case involving the rape of a minor girl. Additional Sessions Judge Manish Dua also sentenced the man to two years of rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs2,000 under Section 506 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
