Man held in Faridabad for allegedly using fake BJP MLA stamp to verify Aadhaar documents

Faridabad, Oct 1 (UNI) Police have arrested a man for allegedly using a forged stamp bearing the name of BJP MLA Satish Fagna to verify documents submitted for Aadhaar enrolment and updates in Faridabad, officials said. The accused, identified as Saurabh, a resident of Parvatiya Colony, allegedly charged people between Rs 800 and Rs 1,000 for document verification. Police suspect that he used the purportedly fake stamp to verify documents belonging to more than 100 people.
