Two Haryana education officials held for allegedly taking Rs 2.93 lakh bribe

Panchkula, Sep 23 (UNI) The Haryana State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (SV&ACB) on Wednesday arrested two Education Department officials in Sonipat in a bribery case, including a junior engineer who was allegedly caught accepting Rs 2.93 lakh from a complainant for clearing pending bills, a bureau spokesman said here. The arrested officials were identified as Ashish, a Junior Engineer, and Vishnu, a Sub-Divisional Officer, both posted with the Education Department in Sonipat.
