Haryana Police arrest two in Rs 22-lakh overseas job fraud; fake appointment letter used to dupe Hisar resident

Panchkula, Sep 20 (UNI) Haryana Police have arrested two men for allegedly duping a Hisar resident of Rs 22 lakh with the promise of sending him abroad, using a fake appointment letter to gain his trust, a police spokesperson said on Sunday. The accused were brought from a jail in Rajkot, Gujarat, on production warrants and arrested by the Hisar Economic Offences Wing (EOW). Police will seek their remand to trace the money trail and determine whether more people were cheated through the alleged network.
