Training of master trainers begins for second phase of Census-2027 in UP

By Manoj Bhadra Lucknow, Sep17 (UNI) Training of Master Trainers for the second phase of Census-2027 has commenced in Uttar Pradesh after the Centre rescheduled the population enumeration exercise in the state in view of the upcoming Assembly elections. The training programme was inaugurated by Sheetal Verma, Director and Chief Principal Census Officer, Uttar Pradesh, on Wednesday. Population enumeration for the second phase of Census-2027 in Uttar Pradesh will be conducted from December 1, 2026 to January 4, 2027, while the reference date and time for the exercise will be January 5, 2027, at 0000 hours.
