Arvind limited sets up Rs 150-cr textile unit in Varanasi, to create 1,000 jobs

Lucknow, Nov 5 (UNI) Ahmedabad-based Arvind Limited has set up a Rs 150-crore textile manufacturing facility in Varanasi, with the potential to generate around 1,000 jobs, including significant employment opportunities for women. The facility, located at Khochwan in Mirzamurad area of Varanasi, was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 25. Spread across approximately six acres, the unit will manufacture sportswear and innerwear for several leading multinational brands.
