Paddy procurement to begin in Western UP from Oct 12, Eastern region from Nov 1

Lucknow, Oct 9 (UNI) Under the Kharif marketing year 2026-27, paddy procurement will begin in Western Uttar Pradesh from October 12, while in Eastern Uttar Pradesh, it will begin from November 1. Paddy procurement will continue until February 15 in Western Uttar Pradesh and February 28 in Eastern Uttar Pradesh, 2027. The Central Government has also increased the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for paddy this year.
