Chandigarh, Nov 4 (UNI) The Haryana government will provide an 80 per cent subsidy on vermicompost purchases to eligible farmers registered on the 'Meri Fasal Mera Byora' portal and ease licensing requirements for dealers selling organic fertilisers in small packages, Agriculture Minister Shyam Singh Rana said on Wednesday. The minister said the government had approved a relaxation of licensing requirements for dealers handling fermented organic manure (FOM), liquid fermented organic manure (LFOM), and phosphate-rich organic manure (PROM) in packages of up to 5 kilograms, subject to a stock limit of 10 metric tonnes.
