UP: ECI suspends 2 AROs of Pilibhit over irregularities in voter list

Lucknow, Nov 1 (UNI) The Election Commission of India (ECI) has taken strict action in connection with alleged irregularities in the voter list for the Pilibhit Assembly constituency in Uttar Pradesh. The Commission on Sunday ordered the suspension of two Electoral Registration Officers (EROs), Mayank Goswami and Hemant Chaudhary, and directed that their chargesheets be sent to the Commission for investigation and that they not be reinstated without its prior permission.
