Ladakh LG empowers Naib-Tehsildars to issue Reserved Category and Income Certificates in Ladakh

Srinagar, Sep 19 (UNI) Ladakh Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena has empowered Naib-Tehsildars holding independent charge of a Tehsil to issue Reserved Category and Income Certificates within their respective jurisdictions, bringing the services closer to residents in remote areas, officials said. A spokesman of the Ladakh LG said the decision aims to reduce the difficulties faced by residents, particularly those living in remote and far-flung areas, who otherwise have to travel long distances to obtain certificates required to access various government schemes, benefits, reservations, and other services.
