Sopore Engineer Ishfaq Beig elevated as in-charge Chief Engineer, Central Kashmir

Srinagar, Oct 29 (UNI) Ishfaq Mohmmad Beig, 48, has been posted as in-charge Chief Engineer, R&B Central Kashmir, becoming the youngest Chief Engineer in the union Territory, officials said. According to an official order issued on Wednesday, the government also placed Aijaz Ahmed Shah as In-charge Chief Engineer, R&B South Kashmir. Both appointments take effect immediately, the order said. A native of Sopore in north Kashmir's Baramulla district, Beig was serving as Superintending Engineer, R&B Circle Baramulla, before his elevation, officials said.
