Punjab plans spiritual wellness pilot to aid drug rehabilitation in border districts

Chandigarh, Oct 2 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has given in-principle approval to a pilot programme aimed at adding psychosocial and spiritual support to medical treatment for people battling drug addiction, the state government said today. The pilot will be launched in Amritsar, Tarn Taran and Fazilka, while Art of Living-based programmes are also proposed at OOAT clinics and central jails in Gurdaspur and Kapurthala.
