RTA to issue E-Auto Rickshaw permits to unemployed youths in nine subdivisions of Kangra district

Dharamshala, Oct 22 (UNI) The Regional Transport Authority (RTA), Dharamshala, will issue e-auto rickshaw permits in nine subdivisions of Kangra district to provide self-employment opportunities to unemployed youth. Regional Transport Officer Vikas Jamwal said the permits would be issued for Baijnath, Palampur, Jaisinghpur, Nagrota Bagwan, Dhira, Kangra, Shahpur, Nurpur and Dharamshala subdivisions. He said the scheme was intended for unemployed youth who would personally drive the e-auto rickshaws. Applicants must be permanent residents of Himachal Pradesh, unemployed and possess a valid driving licence.
