J&K: HC continues ban on fuel-powered boats in Dal Lake

Srinagar, Nov 3 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Court has directed that its ban on the operation of all engine-powered boats, including motor boats, jet skis and motorised shikaras, in Dal Lake shall continue, asserting that any violation shall be viewed very seriously. Earlier, on October 14, the High Court had ordered the suspension of all fuel-powered boats operating on Dal Lake, including motorised shikaras and jet skis, to prevent further pollution.
