Haryana allows payment of property tax under old system until December-end

Panchkula, Nov 3 (UNI) The Haryana government has allowed property owners and occupiers in municipal areas to pay property tax under the old taxation system until the end of December 2026, before making the revised system mandatory, according to two gazette notifications issued by the Urban Local Bodies Department. The notifications, dated November 2, amend the property tax provisions notified on July 30, 2026, under the Haryana Municipal Act, 1973, and the Haryana Municipal Corporation Act, 1994.
