Haryana clears Rs 320.44 crore Kurukshetra ITI upgrade under PM-SETU

Chandigarh, Oct 24 (UNI) The Haryana government on Saturday approved financial provisions for a Rs 320.44 crore project to modernise seven government Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) under the Kurukshetra cluster of the centrally sponsored PM-SETU scheme. The decision was taken at a Standing Finance Committee meeting chaired by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, which cleared the implementation framework and budgetary arrangements for the project. The Pradhan Mantri Skilling and Employability Transformation through Upgraded ITIs scheme aims to modernise vocational education, strengthen industry participation and improve employment opportunities for technically trained youth.
