Haryana: Birth and death registration after two years to need magistrate's order from Oct 1

Panchkula, Sep 17 (UNI) Registration of a birth or death more than two years after the event will require an order from a Judicial Magistrate First Class from October 1, under an amendment to the Registration of Births and Deaths Act. The Centre has notified October 1 as the date from which the Registration of Births and Deaths (Amendment) Act, 2026 will come into force.
