Gurugram bans drones, paragliders on Oct 7 ahead of Amit Shah's visit

Gurugram, Oct 6 (UNI) The Gurugram district administration has prohibited the use of drones, paragliders and other unmanned aerial vehicles across the district on October 7 as part of security arrangements for union Home Minister Amit Shah's visit, according to an order issued by District Magistrate Uttam Singh on Tuesday. The order, issued under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, follows a communication from the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Headquarters) regarding Shah's scheduled visit to the Maharana Pratap Swarna Jayanti Udyan (Leisure Valley) in Gurugram.
