Raipur, Oct 29 (UNI) Chhattisgarh government employees and pensioners will receive higher dearness allowance and dearness relief from November 1, following a two percentage point increase. The revised rates will rise from 58% to 60%, benefiting an estimated 3.85 lakh state government employees and 1.5 lakh pensioners across the state. The increase will cost the state exchequer an additional Rs 36 crore a month, taking the annual financial burden to around Rs 432 crore.
