No obstruction to patrolling in Depsang: Army

New Delhi, Nov 6 (UNI) The Army on Wednesday clarified that Indian and Chinese troops are following the general understanding reached with regard to patrolling in Depsang in eastern Ladakh and there is no obstruction from either side.

Stating that the news published in an English daily as ‘speculative and bereft of facts’, the Army in a statement clarified that based on consensus achieved on 21 October 2024, both sides have effectively carried out disengagement. Indian side has resumed patrolling to its traditional patrolling areas, the Army said.
