No Karnataka leadership change, Siddaramaiah to continue: CM's son

Bengaluru, Feb 7 (UNI) Congress leader Yathindra Siddaramaiah on Saturday firmly ruled out any change in the leadership in Karnataka, stating that the current Chief Minister would continue for the remaining tenure.
Addressing media amid persistent speculation over a possible leadership reshuffle, Yathindra said the party high command has taken a clear decision and there was no scope for further discussion. “The Chief Minister is the Chief Minister. The high command has conveyed that there will be no change in leadership for the remaining tenure," he told reporters here.
He emphasised that he had never suggested a change in leadership and said repeated speculation was unnecessary and misleading. "There is no question of discussing who will become the Chief Minister now. The high command has already decided," he said.
