Night temperatures above normal at few places over West Rajasthan

Pune, Feb 18 (UNI) Night temperatures were markedly above normal (5.1°C or more) at a few places over west Rajasthan; at isolated places over Gujarat state; appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at isolated places over Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, east Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at a few places over east Uttar Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, Madhya Maharashtra, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Mahe; at isolated places over Odisha, Chhattisgarh, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Telangana, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
These were below normal (-1.6°C to -3.0°C) at a few places over Andaman and Nicobar Islands; at isolated places over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal and near normal over rest parts of the country. Today, the lowest minimum temperature of 7.8°C is reported at Pathankot (Punjab) over the plains of the country.
