NIA Probe traces Delhi Car Blast to Pakistani Handler

New Delhi, November 12 (UNI) A day after the National Investigation Agency (NIA) formally took over the investigation into the Delhi car blast, intelligence sources pointed to a Pakistani connection in the Red Fort car blast, even as a special ten-member probe team was constituted.
The team will be led by Additional Director General (ADG) Vijay Sakhere. It includes an Inspector General (IG), two Deputy Inspectors General (DIGs), three Superintendents of Police (SPs), and a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP). Officers from the Delhi Police are also assisting the central agency.
Top intelligence sources told UNI that emerging evidence points to a Pakistani connection in the Red Fort car blast. The lead reportedly surfaced during the interrogation of Dr. Muzaammil and other suspects.
