NHRC Secretary General urges youths to become guardians of human rights

Bhubaneswar, Mar 14 (UNI) Secretary General of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), Bharat Lal, has called upon the younger generation to take an active role as custodians of human rights and uphold the principles of equality and dignity for all.
Delivering a lecture under the KIIT Knowledge Tree series, Lal emphasized that empathy and compassion lie at the heart of the human rights framework.
He highlighted the transformative power of education, stating that it shapes a person’s culture, behavior, and mindset, ultimately influencing the kind of society we build.
