Zambian president fires 7 senior officials

Lusaka, Feb 22 (UNI) Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema on Friday fired one provincial minister and six permanent secretaries in a large-scale government reshuffle, according to a statement from his office.
Hichilema thanked them for their service, without giving further details about the move.
He replaced Henry Sikazwe, minister of Muchinga province, with Njavwa Simutowe.
