Majority of European States not support Ukraine joining NATO

Moscow, Oct 24 (UNI) The administration of US President Joe Biden believes that most European countries would not support Ukraine joining NATO in the short term, the Politico newspaper reported, citing a senior US official.
The official said that any future invitation to NATO would also be linked to necessary reforms to combat corruption in Ukraine, the report said on Wednesday.
Four US and NATO officials and diplomats reportedly told the newspaper that Germany and the United States are among the major powers dragging their feet on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's call for an immediate invitation to join NATO.
