"Will succeed in ending Ukraine conflict": Trump

Washington, Nov 3 (UNI) US President Donald Trump said he believes he "will succeed in ending the conflict in Ukraine" within a few months, citing his experience in resolving disputes with other countries. "I think we are going to get it done, yes. I think (Russian President Vladimir Putin) really wants to do business with the US,” Trump told during an interview with CBS News '60 Minutes', referring to his past negotiations with countries such as India and Pakistan.
"But it did work with India, and it did work with Pakistan, and it did work with 60% of those countries," Trump told CBS when asked if he can settle the conflict in a couple of months.
Trump said Putin wants to trade with the United States and “make a lot of money for Russia,” calling that development “great.” He added that his tariff policies had helped resolve other conflicts and expressed confidence they could work with Russia on Ukraine.
