Ukraine loses up to 690 soldiers in fighting with Russia Yug Group

Moscow, Aug 28 (UNI) Russia's Yug (South) group of forces has eliminated up to 690 Ukrainian servicepeople over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Wednesday.
"The Ukrainian armed forces have lost up to 690 servicepeople, 21 vehicles [among other military losses in battles with the southern group]," the ministry said in a statement.
Over the give period, the Tsentr (Center) group of forces has taken control of the settlement of Komyshivka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), eliminating up to 475 Ukrainian troops, the statement read, adding that the Zapad (West) group of forces has repelled five counterattacks and eliminated up to 490 Ukrainian troops.
