Kabul, Mar 10 (UNI) A total of 21 Afghan inmates imprisoned in Pakistan have been set free and returned to their homeland Afghanistan, the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation reported Monday.
According to the ministry's statement, 21 detainees were imprisoned in Pakistan for two to 25 months. After being released, they returned to Afghanistan on Sunday.
Two Afghan nationals, who had been detained in Iraq for the past four months, were released and returned to Afghanistan on Friday.
