Russia in UN not discussing Ukraine settlement with US – Mission

United Nations, May 9 (UNI) Russia's Permanent Mission to the United Nations does not have any separate channel for discussing the settlement in Ukraine with the United States, Russian Deputy Ambassador to the UN Dmitry Polyanskiy told RIA Novosti.
"As for the topic of the Ukrainian settlement, it has not yet been 'refracted' to the New York platform and we do not have any separate channel for dialogue with the Americans here," the Russian diplomat said.
Polyanskiy also said the Russian mission does not discuss bilateral Russian-American relations with the US Permanent Mission to the UN.
"Nevertheless, if it is deemed appropriate, we are ready to work directly with our American colleagues in New York on the functioning of the Permanent Mission - there are still many problems here," he said.
