Moscow, June 19 (UNI) Russian air defences destroyed 81 Ukrainian drones at night, the Russian Defence Ministry said in a statement.
"This past night, from 21:20 Moscow time on June 18 to 06:40 Moscow time on June 19, air defence systems on duty intercepted and destroyed 81 Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles," the ministry said.
It said 19 drones were intercepted over the Bryansk Region, 17 over the Kursk Region, 13 over the Smolensk Region, seven over the Volgograd Region, and six over the Oryol Region. Five drones were shot down over the Rostov Region and Crimea each, three over the Belgorod and Astrakhan regions each, two over the Ryazan Region, and one over the Moscow Region.
