Quake measuring 5.7 hits South Sandwich Islands region: USGS

Beijing, Nov. 6 (UNI) An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 jolted the South Sandwich Islands region at 2203 GMT on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 33.2 km, was initially determined to be at 58.05 degrees south latitude and 25.2 degrees west longitude.

Islamabad, Dec 4 (UNI) Formally announcing the auction of the country's national air carrier, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that the bidding process for state-owned Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will start on December 23.
Announcing full transparency of the PIA auction, the premier, during a meeting with business tycoons and representatives discussing the airline's privatisation, said that the auction would be televised live on national television.
