Tokyo, Feb 1 (UNI) Over 14,000 people remain evacuated one month after a 7.6-magnitude earthquake struck central Japan, as local authorities rush to set up temporary shelters amid ongoing logistical problems, Japanese news agency Kyodo reported on Thursday.
Evacuated victims of the quake are trying to rebuild their lives but are facing fresh food shortages due to supply chain disruptions and accommodation problems, the newspaper reported.
Ishikawa Governor Hiroshi Hase said the prefecture will contribute to reconstruction through a newly established headquarters, while the central government will provide 6 million yen (
