Japan PM says will not dissolve parliament after party's failure in 3 by-elections

Tokyo, April 30 (UNI) Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida said on Tuesday that he took his party's failure in the three recent by-elections to the Japanese parliament's lower house very seriously but was not planning to dissolve the legislature.
On Sunday, Japan's ruling conservative Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) lost two by-elections in the prefectures of Shimane and Nagasaki and one in Tokyo amid public criticism of its fundraising practices, Japanese media reported.
"I take the results of the by-elections very seriously and hard. The issue of money obtained from political donations has largely affected [the situation] ... We will focus on resolving the issues and delivering the result, and I absolutely do not think of it [dissolving the parliament]," Kishida told reporters.

Jerusalem, May 22 (UNI) Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday expressed deep shock and outrage over the killing of two employees at the Israeli Embassy in Washington, D.C., in what he described as an "antisemitic attack."
According to a statement of the Prime Minister's office, Netanyahu held a phone conversation with Israeli Ambassador to the United States Yechiel Leiter, who briefed him on the details of the incident. The prime minister extended his support to the ambassador and staff members at the embassy.
