India, Ethiopia elevate ties to strategic partnership as PM Modi pays first visit to Addis Ababa

Addis Ababa/New Delhi, Dec 16 (UNI) India and Ethiopia on Tuesday elevated their ties to Strategic Partnership following talks between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali in Addis Ababa.
Addressing the Ethiopian side, during the delegation level talks, Prime Minister Narendra Modi thanked Prime Minister Abiy Ali for the warm welcome.
The Ethiopian PM had welcomed PM Modi at the airport, accompanied him to his hotel and even drove him in his car to the Science Musuem where the two leaders spent some time.
