Pak: 15 civilians, 6 terrorists killed as TTP militants trigger twin blasts

Islamabad, March 4 (UNI) At least 21 people - 15 civilians and six terrorists - were killed in twin blasts triggered in a military base by suicide bombers belonging to the militant group TTP and retaliatory firing by security forces in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Tuesday, media reports said.
A hospital official in Bannu said at least 15 civilians, including four children and two women, were killed in the blasts, while 25 others sustained injuries. Security forces said the major terrorist attack on Bannu Cantonment was foiled and they killed at least six attackers belonging to the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan.
The sources said the suicide bombers drove two explosive-laden cars into the compound's perimeter, triggering massive explosions, GeoTV reported.
