Cuba condemns new US sanctions against North Korea: Foreign Minister

Havana, Nov 8 (SPUTNIK/UNI) The Cuban government condemned new unilateral US sanctions against North Korea as violating the Asian country's right to development and protection of its sovereignty.
"We condemn the new unilateral coercive measures imposed by the US government against the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, aimed at restricting its legitimate right to socioeconomic development and protection of its sovereignty.
Our full solidarity and support go to the party, government, and people of the brotherly DPRK," Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla wrote on X. On November 4, the US Department of the Treasury, through the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), announced sanctions against the eight individuals and two entities linked to North Korea.
