Moscow, May 13 (UNI) The death toll from the collapse of a multi-story residential building in Russia's Belgorod due to Ukrainian shelling has risen to 19, Belgorod Region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on Monday.
An entire section of the 10-story house in a residential neighborhood of Belgorod collapsed earlier on Sunday amid heavy Ukrainian shelling. A new attack followed on Sunday evening, killing three civilians and injuring five others. Previous reports indicated that 15 people died.
"The main part of clearing the rubble of the residential building ... has been completed. The bodies of 15 people have so far been recovered from the rubble. Yesterday, during the evening shelling, three more civilians were killed. Another woman who was injured on May 11 died in hospital. Nineteen people are the losses that you and I suffered yesterday among civilians, innocent residents who were killed by the Kiev regime," Gladkov wrote on Telegram.
