Russia registers new version of Sputnik V COVID-19 vaccine

Moscow, Feb 29 (UNI) The Russian Health Ministry has approved an updated formula for the homegrown two-dose Sputnik V vaccine against COVID-19, Alexander Gintsburg, the director of the Moscow-based Gamaleya National Centre for Epidemiology and Microbiology, told Sputnik on Thursday.

In December 2023, the health ministry approved the modified composition of the single-dose Sputnik Light vaccine.
