India Russia relations are 'special', both countries have never had any issues : Putin

Moscow, Oct 3 (UNI) Russian President Vladimir Putin has lauded the ‘’special’’ relations with India and said both countries have never had any issues or problems on the inter-State level.
‘’Our relations are special ever since soviet times. Fifteen years ago we made an announcement about our strategic privileged partnership, and that is a perfect description of our relations with India. We have never had any issues or problems with India on the inter-state level,’’ Putin said in reply to a question after his address at the plenary session of the 22nd annual meeting of Valdai International Discussion Club in Sochi.
Replying to a question on US tariffs against India for buying Russian oil President Putin said US tariffs against India will fail and unlike Europe, India and China are countries that respect themselves.
