PM Modi congratulates Japanese PM on his party's victory

Glasgow/New Delhi, Nov 1 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday congratulated Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida for his party's victory in the lower house elections, and said he looks forward to working together to strengthen the special bilateral strategic ties.
Prime Minister Modi, who is in Glasgow for the COP26 summit, in a tweet said:
“Heartiest felicitations to @kishida230 for victory in the Lower House elections in Japan. Look forward to working together to further strengthen our Special Strategic and Global Partnership and for peace and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific region and beyond.”
