Explosion rocks central Syrian city of Homs: State media

Damascus, Nov 6 (UNI) A loud explosion shook the central Syrian city of Homs and its surrounding areas late Tuesday, Syria's state television reported, adding that an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the blast.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a war monitor, confirmed the explosion, describing it as a "violent, unknown blast" that reverberated through Homs and nearby areas.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
