Canberra, May 14 (UNI) Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has departed for Indonesia on his first international visit since winning re-election. Albanese on Wednesday evening flew to Jakarta to meet with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto.
In a statement prior to departure, Albanese said that he and Subianto would discuss the close relations between Australia and Indonesia and how the bilateral relationship can be deepened.
He will be joined in Indonesia by Penny Wong, Australia's minister for foreign affairs, and Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke.
