Role of workers vital for creating developed Maharashtra by 2047: Guv

Mumbai, May 13 (UNI) The contribution of workers is not only necessary but also mandatory in fulfilling the dream of ‘Developed Maharashtra 2047’ as the nation moves towards its target of a trillion-dollar economy, asserted state Governor C. P. Radhakrishnan on Tuesday.
Radhakrishnan was speaking at the 36th Kamgar Bhushan Award and Vishwakarma Gunwant Kamgar Awards distribution ceremony here organised by the Maharashtra Workers Welfare Board.
The Governor said the steps taken by the board in the fields of health, education, skill training, sports and entertainment are remarkable and suggested that the international standard sports facilities created in Mumbai should be made available in other districts as well.
