Thane Metro Project set to begin with Rs 1400 crore approval

Mumbai, June 15 (UNI) Following the legal recognition granted by the Central Government, the foundation stone for the much-anticipated Thane Metro Rail project is expected to be laid shortly.
Thane MP Naresh Mhaske on Sunday said the development came following persistent efforts by Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde .
Mhaske said an initial fund allocation of Rs 1400 crore has been approved for the private metro project in Thane.
