10 students of Wardha university suspended for derogatory remarks against PM Modi, Savarkar

Wardha, Nov 14 (UNI) Ten students have been suspended by Mahatma Gandhi International Hindi University for making derogatory remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and freedom fighter Vinayak Savarkar.
The incident occurred on November 6, coinciding with the declaration of results at Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi, where the student wing backed by the Bharatiya Janata Party was defeated, and the Left-front emerged victorious.
Reports indicate that students at the Wardha university shouted slogans such as “Sorry Savarkar” and “Go Narendra” to express their reaction.
